LADURÉE COLLABORATIONS

Ladurée, without any doubt is the mother of all Parisian tea salons.
I myself have been a fan ever since I went to Paris for the first time in the summer of 1998, but Ladurée goes way back to 1862 (that's why people should once and for all stop relating it to "Blair" or Gossip girl).

I can talk about their macarons forever and ever, but this post is about their fashion collaborations. I love major brand collaborations (who doesn't?), recently they have collaborated with "Tsumori Chisato", a lot of you might not know the brand but she's this AMAZING designer from Japan.

Find below the recent Ladurée collaboration along with past collaborations:
Ladurée X Tsumori Chisato

Ladurée X Matthew Williamson

Ladurée X Marni

Ladurée X John Galliano

And the only one I ever found and saved the box for life:

Ladurée X Christian Louboutin

And now I'm craving rose macarons more than ever, when will we get Ladurée in Jeddah?

THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS ///

The Chemical Brothers (who need no introduction), released a dvd of music videos/accompanying visuals along with their 2010 release "Further".
Make sure you check out rest of the videos, I'm posting my favorites from the album... Enjoy!

LITTLE SHILPA

Little Shilpa is the genius brand by Shilpa Chavan.
I'm sure a lot of you people don't know about her, as she is an Indian fashion accessories designer/stylist/artist based in India & U.K.

I go to India a lot, and by visiting one of the very cool conceptual fashion stores there, I was introduced to Little Shilpa. She makes head pieces, necklaces, badges, chains... almost all fashion accessories and they're all one of a kind.

She's really famous for creating head turning runway accessories, she's been featured in many magazines (including Vogue Italia), her installations + collaborations are worth checking out and Lady GaGa is a Little Shilpa fan.

I love how random most of her photo concepts are, and all of her work is amazing but it still has a very cool Indian touch to it.

Acrylic pieces, chains, flowers, badges... you name it, she's done it.

LOUIS VUITTON SS'12 MENS SHOES

I know a lot of people these days pretend they don't care about or like Louis Vuitton, well those people do not know what they're talking about (or maybe they're just hatin').

Aside from the timeless classics by Louis Vuitton, I'm more of a crazy fan that would go for these fashion pieces they sent to each boutique in limited quantities.

The one thing I always love by Louis Vuitton are their shoes. They're always "to-die-for".

Posting below a few picks from the SS'12 collection

Freshman sneaker boot in plain and suede: MY FAVORITE!
Heir richelieu in leather: I love the classic idea with the back strap.

Axel sneaker boot in damier aventure: Their Axel sneakers are really comfortable.

Diploma lace-up in grained leather: Really like the details on this one.
Safari sandal in damier Masaï canvas: For people who are looking for comfort and uniqueness.

Midnight lace-up in glitter: I just love how crazy this is... and is it just me or you're starting to like this as well?
Iowa loafer in suede khakhi: Love the contrast
Iowa loafer in suede beige: Best part about Louis Vuitton is they offer the same design in many different colors.

Safari sandal in suede: In Saudi Arabia a lot of guys prefer comfy sandals... this ones for them.
Midnight lace-up in perforated patent leather: Really like how clean and shiny this is (amazing details).

Freshman sneaker in damier masaï canvas: This is VERY Japanese I know, but some people love bright colors
(and the Masaï is gonna be huge soon).

Heir loafer in leather: My second favorite. Love the contrast navy blue line and the PERFECT stitching.
ace sneaker in leather & damier canvas: a lil bit of Kanye style.
Serengeti sandal in leather: Everything about this one is just... perfect.

Make sure you check out their website for more collection, and keep an eye on this.

KRIS VAN ASSCHE

I'm a huge Kris Van Assche fan.
From Belgium, worked with YSL rive gauche menswear, then with Dior Homme and also worked as the art director for Dior Homme. His own label, launched in 2007 is all about effortless elegance and I for one fall in love with his designs when I pay attention to the details, he's all about the details (and the highest quality of course).

PS: If it's the first time you are hearing his name, its Kris Van Assche (Ash).

Check out few of my picks (which I'm dying to get):

Casual trousers, love the cropped length.

A timeless blazer, and an amazingly cool vest.

High top sneakers with laces are kind of his trademark, and the amazing jacket.

Loved the ankle boots and ankle and the lace-less high top sneaker.

HANDS DOWN... THE COOLEST SANDALS EVER!

Love the attention to details when it comes to white shirts (both long & short sleeves designs).

3/4 sleeve polo neck... casual trousers... cotton tshirts... fleecewear... EVERYTHING IS GREAT!

Make sure you visit his website for more details, Kris Van Assche is available to purchase online (click here & here for a few options). Also if you're in Jeddah or Riyadh, its available in Sid stores.
